Difficult to judge Barnes on this seasons performance.  Unfortunately it's been a bit of a wasted season for him.

Really? Can't see many PL clubs being interested in him - yes when he plays his record is unreal but 'when he plays' which isn't very often.

I didn't think we played particularly badly by any means and credit to Brighton for doing a job on us. The issues for us were clear; final ball lacking, quality finishing lacking. I'm wondering if Harvey Barnes is going to be defined by maddening inconsistency; for him to fire-in that absolute missile against West Ham, too those two limp dick efforts yesterday. So frustrating. 

 

I thought Tino and Krafth were very good from a defensive point of view and Bruno drove most of what was good. Good to see Trippier back and it was a lovely surprise to see Cisse with Jonas. Thought Anderson was mostly anonymous and Murphy replicated performances of pre-2022. 

I thought Anderson was our best player in the 1st half -  granted he disappeared a bit in the second but he was always wanting the ball.  Murphy was poor and imo shouldn't have started the 2nd half.

I left at the whistle cause I was dehydrated and my head was banging - I really needed a drink. No other reason.  I wouldn't be surprised if that was the same for others.  It was hot.

For me it all depends who comes in for him - if it's City that'll be hard for him to turn down.

Yeah it was draft taking Isak off - could understand if we were winning / or had nothing to play for. 

Ref was shocking today - Brighton seemed hell bent on time wasting from the 1st min. Ref did nothing about it.
