  1. Remember thinking at the time it's stupid idea playing someone who is coming back from a hamstring injury on a fake pitch.  Whether he would have still needed an operation is anyones guess but it cannot of helped. :idiot2:  I think the club as a collective need to analyse that decision.

As for selling him... :fool:  I'm still pinching myself that he plays for Newcastle - the lad has not even hit his prime yet.  He's just been unlucky.

  2. Recently, you’ve been announced perhaps everywhere during the transfer market?

Last summer, we really had a great season and I needed to settle myself even more in a team where felt great. I still had lot to learn and give back, because they gave so much. I simply couldn’t leave last summer, even If I had several propositions. And this winter I wasn’t willing to leave either. Of course, I want the club to be ambitious, and sometimes in our minds we think we could go for the title with the squad and the prestige we’ve got.

Still not committing long term.... :scared:

Come on Ashley give this lad new contract.

  3. I think we can only really judge him this season once Ba left. Up until that point he played many games out wide in a position he was unfamiliar with and clearly uncomfortable with.  The lack of goals as a result is clearly on his mind as he seems to be snapping at his chances.  But he is still creating chances and I am convinced the goals with start flying in before the season is out.

  4. From co.uk:

Newcastle United (4-2-3-1): Tim Krul; Mathieu Debuchy, Steven Taylor, Fabricio Coloccini ©, Davide Santon; James Perch, Yohan Cabaye; Yoan Gouffran, Moussa Sissoko, Jonas Gutierrez; Papiss Cisse

Substitutes: Steve Harper, Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa, Vurnon Anita, Cheick Tiote, Sylvain Marveaux, Gabriel Obertan, Shola Ameobi

Don't remember seeing a stronger bench.  Be even better when Benny comes back. :cheesy:

  5. I can categorically state that not a single player is on £100,000-a-week. The wage we are paying Loïc Rémy is the wage that Newcastle were offering him. I just persuaded him that our project and London was a better project than Newcastle’s.

We paid what Newcastle were offering. I spent a lot of time and effort and he saw something in this project that he wanted to take a risk. If it doesn’t work then we can find him somewhere else.

I think he's had your eyes out there Tony  :yao:

  6. Am still buzzing. WHAT A PLAYER !!!

Got speed to burn, comfortable on the ball, can pick a pass, can tackle and can finish.  I knew he was good but NOT this good.  Utter quality. :frantic:

“He was meant to play. But he got injured. It’s a real blow for him, and it looks like two or three weeks, which is a real shame.

“He would have enjoyed that. I feel for Sylvain, a little bit.

“He’s hurt the bone that runs across his foot.”

hurt the bone?  what does that mean?
