  1. Lingard is trying to offload Lingard. He hired Raiola to try and force a move. He has been dreadful for a year, but there is a really good player in there. Isn't he the guy who said he'd never deal with Man U again after the Haaland deal? So, instead, a week later he tries to f*** up their s***? Was it not the other way around?
  2. Where's this confidence that Lookman is better than those coming from? He's barely played since he was a kid
  3. He's a winger for a very defensive team, not a forward
  4. ‘A player in there’ In the same way there’s a player in joelinton Jones has proved for years he can’t cut it That means if anything he’s inconsistent and therefore not worth taking a punt on It means he's consistent if anything. On Jones, he was signed for a reason, whether he's lost what he had I don't know but it's certainly easier to defend for a Burnley, Villa, etc. than a top team
  5. Has to be a free kick there, even if there was no contact
  6. And again What did Lindelof do there? He also was unlucky for the first. More the fault of Bernardo Silva having the freedom of the centre of the pitch Watch him in the build up to it. Aye he slipped in the opposition half. Strange player to single out considering what went on after

  8. Not like Phil Jones to get done like that
  9. Athletic Bilbao and Valencia are similar clubs Rafa Benitez won 2 titles and a European trophy with that level of club. Valencia hadn't won the league in 31 years. Athletic Bilbao can only sign Basque players ffs Bielsa also managed them in the period from 2011-2013, i.e. when one of the best teams of all time was in La Liga. Rafa would not have won the league with Valencia in those years I think you should have a look at the lineups of Real Madrid and Barca when Rafa was at Valencia. Rafa won the league with 70 something points. Barca and Real were consistently in the 90s in 2011-13 Only 1 manager in the last 35 years has broken the dominance of Real Madrid and Barcelona twice. Outstanding achievement considering no one else has broken the dominance twice in the last 35 years. That was when Barca were a mess. A mess? Puyol, Edgar Davids, Xaxi, Iniesta, Overmars, Ronaldinho, Kluivert They got like 60s/low 70s points in both the seasons Rafa won the league. A complete mess If you’re giving titles out just for high points totals then you should give Rafa 2 Premier League titles instead for getting 86 points at Liverpool(Losing only 1 game all season) and 82 points at Chelsea. I'm not giving titles out just for high points totals though Just saying Barcelona getting well below 2 points on average per game constitutes a mess

Real Madrid had Roberto Carlos, Zidane, Figo, Raul, Brazilian Ronaldo. It doesn't matter what players they have when they can barely get 70 points or even less as they did in one of the seasons Rafa won the league

  15. He's never managed a European club that had a hope in hell of winning a league title ffs
  16. Their movement in all positions is unbelievable
  17. Looks like a PL vs Championship side but the other way around
  18. They play nicer stuff than everybody bar City
  19. Will be such a shame if Leeds fuck it up again. Dominating Arsenal
  20. Two pretty full strength sides. Should be a good game this Arsenal-Leeds. Pity its not at Elland Road
  21. I disagree on this. I think if we had Rondon and Perez this season we'd still be doing well because Bruce could just copy Rafa. It would have eventually went tits up anyway when he had to change it eventually based on injuries, players leaving, etc. but I think we could have got one good season out of it. Even if we were lumping it 50 yards from everyone else, Rondon could win fouls, force defenders to put it out for throw ins and occasionally trap it himself. Joelinton can do none of that, and it was unfair to expect him to
  22. Batshuayi is not a good player. An improvement on Joelinton of course though
