  1. Looks really strange. Are Alli and Winks supposed to be the "holding" midfielders?

Zaha is really good. Much better than Ritchie in general play IMO but Ritchie is great at set pieces so you could argue Ritchie is more effective
  3. Trevor Francis wanted Sanchez subbed before half time
  4. That Spurs midfield looks very weak defensively
  5. For a more realistic target, we should go for Giroud in January if we get taken over
  6. Ozil just puts the perfect weight on every pass
  7. Mirallas would surely improve Everton
  8. Arsenal's form improved when Ozil wasn't playing fwiw Did that coincide with Sanchez returning?
  9. Christ this bein show with Keys and Gray is so bad. Its all Sanchez and Ozil's fault apparently
  10. Is Butland really that good or is it just that people don't watch him play that much and assume he's doing well? He's conceding loads like
  11. Must be a very motivated one then because there is absolutely no difference in his effort levels
  12. Fair play to Arsenal like, well deserved

I don't think any of the players you mentioned are better than the championship. Perez spent a lot of last season playing poorly and I just can't imagine looking at Manquillo or Joselu in the championship and thinking they're too good to be there
  14. I really want Xhaka to be good but its just not going to happen
  15. Everton should be two or three down already. Sanchez and Ozil destroying them
  16. Might as well get Perisic as well if we are going full on Newcastionale. shout tbh. I dunno why no one has bought Handanovic, massively underrated keeper imo. Inter have loads of money now and are a massive club in their own right. Always find it a bit weird when you go on about Icardi not getting a move elsewhere too because its not the 90s anymore? They haven't been good for absolutely ages, they are still playing Nagatomo as a LB. They won't win Serie A, they won't do anything in the CL. So they have an easy CL level player who should be playing for a CL calibre team They won the Champions League in this decade not that that really even matters. I think they could go close to winning the league and they have a great manager now. What teams in the CL do you think should/could buy him? Why doesn't that matter? They haven't been a good side for absolutely ages and he's been there five seasons. Spaletti is a good manager, but they are not a good side. He'd get in the vast majority of CL sides. I'd have him over Benzema at real and Ronaldo isn't gonna last forever. PSG when Cavani jacks it in? Arsenal when they get back in? Inter are probably going to qualify for the Champions League and I think they're a good side. They drew at Napoli last night. I think Benzema is class personally and he works brilliantly with Ronaldo which is more important for them than Benzema scoring loads of goals himself. You are talking about all these teams maybe needing him in the future so why are you surprised he's still there now?

  19. What a load of tripe about hodgson. What? A boring team with little/no ideas going forward - the perfect Roy Hodgson team. They have no strikers tbf, not his fault That has absolutely nothing to do with his team being boring or having little/no ideas going forward tbh. You can play without a striker and still be fun and not lack ideas, i'd argue that him not starting Loftus Cheek just strengthens figures argument tbh. Having no players who can play as a striker has nothing to do with his team being boring or lacking ideas going forward? Ok then What? strikers have fuck all to do with a team being entertaining or needing ideas going forward. Pep could bench Aguero and Jesus for the rest of the season and they wouldn't be boring or lack ideas. I dunno about you but a striker doesn't suddenly make a team exciting to watch that wasn't before. Aye well I'm not comparing Roy Hodgson to Pep Guardiola Most managers would struggle to have a good attacking team with no strikers available. If we had Harry Kane up front I think we'd be much more entertaining but fair enough if you disagree So if Roy Hodgson had Harry Kane, he’d have a much more entertaining team? I never said anything like that. I said that its unfair to judge their attacking skills on a game where they had no fit strikers available. Of course its very likely they will be poor going forward anyway Nobody is judging Hodgson on one game though; they are judging him over his entire England career and so far his short career with Palace. He had an England team with a lot of in-form attacking talent and managed to make them into one of the most boring England sides I have ever seen and oversaw two hideous tournaments. You’ve just said Harry Kane would make us more entertaining - so why were England as dull and uninspiring as Palace today? He was a decent manager, he’s now out of touch with the modern game and his dinosaur tactics aren’t going to work. Your post that I replied to said "A boring team with little/no ideas going forward". I don't care about what he'd done in the past. All I've said is that you can't judge that yet as he hasn't had a striker available
