PSG's success until the recent takeover was poor. Aye they'd won the league twice (1985-86 & 1993-94) and been runners up 6 times from 1988 - 2004. Then boom, take over.. win the league 3 years on the trot. On for a 4th with an unbeaten season and record points haul

Fair play to him for coming out with that. ..I'll believe it when I see it like

How come? He won't have to live in Stoke, it's only 40 mins up the road from where he is now. Other than the odd work commitment it'd probably be like he's not got owt to do with Stoke (the city). He'd be in a better team (than West Brom) with more exciting players and at a club that is definitely moving forwards/up I don't think being close to West Brom is necessarily a selling point TBH. True Maybe for him if he's settled or whatever (which he apparently isnt actually so never mind) edit: lived there (Birmingham) all his life. hmm

If they just accepted this afternoon they would/could have had 20 odd million quid to splash on deadline day to strengthen their shite squad. Seems stupid from their point of view not to have accepted it once they got the fee up a bit first (I assume our first offer was like £6m) Could have got 3-4 decent players for that

Also wtf are Ligue 1 (teams) gonna do about PSG? It's not even funny, just embarrassing. Win tonight (which they currently are) and they'll be 24 points clear at the top. Their GD is +46. Next best is Nice & Marseille on +9. How the hell will any other team even get close next season? Or the season after? Carry on like this this season (which it will) and they'll win the league with 10+ games still to play man

Niang, 3-0

Elliot Dummett Saivet Colback - Shelvey Wijnaldum Sissoko - Berahino - Mitrovic - Doumbia - Townsend Colback? And missing Perez, this guy Townsend arriving signals the end of any chance Ayoze has of starting games for the foreseeable. You guys are in for a shock

Elliot Dummett Saivet Colback - Shelvey Wijnaldum Sissoko - Berahino - Mitrovic - Doumbia - Townsend Colback? Thought you (/everyone) would be used to him being the first name on the teamsheet. We're not getting rid of him like

He won't have to move house if he goes to Stoke. 45 min commute up the M6

Aye. We'll eventually get a bid accepted, then Berahino will just tell us to get fucked anyway Get the feeling you're crossing your fingers anyway Obviously not as we seem to have all our eggs in the Berahino basket and there are no other options. He's better than nothing. We should never have been in this position in the first place though

Probably taking all this time trying to verify his age

Real on for another 10 at this rate

Eh? It was them who said it had. Clearly none of 'em have any idea. All Lee Ryders

"Stoke Sentinel" say no Stoke bid for Berahino

who? Sure we could find someone in Europe for £20m Who? Lacazette maybe, but again he's not proven in this league and would cost more than that. Aside that there are hardly any about. Players cost a premium, he's shown he can score in this league. Berahino has scored 17 non penalty goals in 88 Premiership appearances (3 assists). £21m (and probably go higher) man. No way That's fine but who is the alternative? Batshuayi? No idea, like I've already answered, it's not my job to find players - I admittedly don't have the knowledge of european football to be able to, like most here I assume. I can still have an opinion on the business we do do though. Why you going on like Berahino is the only player left in the world anyway? Hell I was just looking at the table and saw Watford. They probably wouldnt turn down £20m for Ighalo. He's scored as many as Berahino scored in his best season after 23 games this season. I'm in no way saying we should go for him or he'd come, but there are options everywhere. Settling for Berahino just.. "because" is stupid I'm not at all. I just want us to sign a goalscorer and frankly I don't care if 25m is too much for him. There's one day left of the transfer window and we are fighting relegation. We don't sign a goalscorer and we risk going down. eh, that's fair enough I suppose. I do get that point of view and agree to a certain extent, I'd just rather not settle for 2nd best because of the situation. That and I really dislike his character and I don't really rate him anyway This is the clubs' fault for leaving this shit to the last 2 days though.

Not even close to being worth £21m, never mind £25m. Tell 'em to get fucked and buy someone else ffs
