  1. The constant thread title changes are totally pointless, who even does them. Sack yourself.
  2. If Man Utd pull this off by offering Hojlund going the opposite way on loan, that would be another massive blow to our already shambolic transfer window, I still feel if we're successful with this, it spells the end for Isak.
  3. Who was our last player to allegedly go on strike to force a move, can't remember ?
  4. Because I like the fact he wanted to hold him to account based on the fact the media do spin, and use a narrative, it definitely got Hopes back up. Points can be true in Hopes defence, but he's a doom and gloom merchant, loves pushing a negative narrative as long as possible, plus it was exaggerated the Howe/Mitchell thing, obviously it didn't work out, but Hope relished in that story. Plus as much as Jordan is a bellend, Hope is a total scrote equally. I just enjoyed his reaction to criticism.
  5. Brilliant from Simon Jordan here, absolutely rattled Hope at one point, really got the hump here.
  6. In a victim impact statement read in court, Mr Isak said: "None of the property stolen from my home was ever recovered. The attack on my home has left me with a sense of unease and I fear it could reoccur." Get me out of this shithole, then chooses Liverpool
  7. Keep seeing this. What about this is your Grealish moment? Didn't work out for Villa, their PSR is as much a joke as anyone. They'll likely soon need another super sale, like Rogers.
  8. Most of the time I agree/like much of your post I see on here, I obviously get your points, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with what I said regarding the situation in reply to @gdm I can't see a situation where he stays if it's gone beyond repair, the people saying things like he's under contract, we can force him to stay, we can let him rot in the reserves etc, it doesn't matter, we can't have a striker top 5 in the world dicking around in the reserves under 21s with constant media coverage, the clubs on its arse right now, no DOF, no CEO, recruitment looking shambolic, an organisation that are seemingly distant, they've taken their hands off the wheel a bit, and now people think we'll force a player of his profile to hang around in the hope of a bidding war next season. I'm not convinced anymore, it's still great many of you are though, I like the faith. I do still think you'll be disappointed though KI. I've nothing to prove though in saying that, just my feelings on it.
  9. Alright 'always' if we're being pedantic? Usually would have been better for vocab 🤓 I just feel like we're past it, not in a pessimistic way, just a probability way, also the managers body language comments, it's all gearing toward the inevitable. Definitely no a 'told you so attitude' but brace yourself for disappointment, even on the fee.
  10. It's definitely not a myth. There's also countless examples of player power also. Can't start taking bets on who's going to be right or wrong here. Ideally all went the same thing. I just dont see it though pal.
  11. You know it doesn't work like that, player power wins, if the agent, player want it, it'll very likely happen, we're never keeping an unhappy player here, especially one of his calibre, there will be constant media coverage of a situation like that, making us a total circus, Howe would never want a sideshow like that during our campaign. We all don't like it, I get that, but if he wants out, it's the only way, just daft we ended up winding down toward the end of the window, where our position on price weakens and Liverpools strengthens.
  12. Just don't think we're in a strong position anymore, it's getting too late in this current window and he'll definitely want to leave in this window. We're not really in a position to drive the price up at this stage. I think even if it was 120m it wouldn't go much past that. Thinking we can demand 150m at this stage is daft.
  13. Could I be way off in thinking this is actually the club wanting to do this really, the reason they're stalling so much on transfers is because they're waiting on Liverpool to tie up all their loose ends, just feels a bit Andy Cole, he later came out saying he didn't want to leave and the club decided, mostly done without even consulting him. Seems like they tried it not so long ago with Bruno also, flaunting a 100m release clause with deadlines in the hope Man City would bite, its obviously a tad mental to think like this with the champions league season that brings extra games, but maybe they've looked at what we need to get through the season and realised we don't have enough to get the bodies in without the sale of a huge player or your biggest asset, but knowing its going to piss off the fanbase they're keeping him back in the UK away from the press who'll inundate him with questions. I'm just not sure, even more so after watching Eddie's recent presser and Bruno's reaction. I guess time will tell.
  14. Find it odd nobody has ever gone for Patrick Schik, he always seems to be up there with the top scorers in the Bundesliga. Mohamed Amoura another who can play striker and provide cover on the wing like Wissa. Media pushing Sesko, and also Samu of Porto as a main target.
  15. I have said similar, there's an impression from many we need to be looking at elite players bla bla, not doing your Brighton/Bournemouth/Forest approach of risk reward. A bit like we did with Hall/Livramento, 30m and 40m each on two young lads perhaps was a risk, but a very rewarding one, similarly with Murillo at Forest, unfortunate for Bournemouth with Huijsen and Kerkez, both turned out spectacular and have moved on, but with good fees, they still have Zabranyi mind and room to invest. I just thought we'd still do one elite signing, and go for a growth potential signings, some to keep and some to continue to strengthen our psr position. There's plenty out there to be had, example Antonio Nusa almost ended up at Brentford, before joining Leipzig for €21m
  16. If he's exploring his options though? He's hardly exploring anything if there's nobody in for him, Is he exploring options based on winning things, Or are they him/agent really exploring biggest pay day?
  17. Keep seeing remarks on social media, many saying a similar line, in response to our fans claiming pif should do a buy loan back etc, Going off that reply, what are the big successful clubs he can join, seriously?
  18. Diaz to Bayern, then those scumbags will bid, I can literally hear Isak now, I'm so pleased to be here this is my dream club, fucking arsehole. We're thick if we give them and him what they want, playing into the whole psr game.
  19. Sell Isak to Saudi or PSG, bring this fucker in, win/win Liverpool can go fuck themselves
  20. Just watched this mini video It's kinda accurate All the goals are mad, like Fifa/FC goals
  21. Could this simply be when he signed he was offered incentives based on CL qualification, winning silverware etc, im sure midway through his deal he went from alleged 120k to 150k, based on the champions league qualifying first time round. He's now helped win a trophy and qualifying again for the CL therefore his agent has asked for a further improvement to his deal, (Mitchell) the club haven't honored the improved contract, and now Isak is fed up and wanting out, tbf he should be the highest paid player at the club without doubt. Perhaps this was why Mitchell criticised the clubs transfer policy, if Amanda was delivering incentives to players contracts that the club couldn't fulfil. I dunno its just a theory.
  22. It's this sort of reply that makes me desperate not to sell to these. Although we do look like total mugs now.
