Virtually nothing. Not one of our attacking lot of Ritchie, Diame, Perez and Gayle was worthy of anything gets more than a 4/10. Mitrovic came on and ran around a bit but in truth I just think he lacks any real quality. Probably my major concern atm, teams coming up to SJP being organised, competitive, and us not being about to break them down. Reckon we'll continue to do well away from home but we're going to need to start dominating at home as well. Why I was banging on about a creative playmaker all summer. Shelvey could potentially do it he just always seems to be playing too deep.

True. Even in the premiership last season we raised our game and got good results against manure twice, Liverpool twice, Chelsea and man city whilst losing to Norwich west brom and the mackems

Get through villa and Norwich without losing then we have Rotherham, Brentford, Barnsley, Ipswich, Preston, Cardiff, Leeds, Blackburn. Think we will get a good haul out that lot and be top in December.

Krul must of wanted away pretty bad or he would of been number 1. Darlow is more than competent and did well last season and Elliot made a lot of good saves

Seems like the first goal is a massive thing as well. If we can knick ourselves in front we are great at seeing it out but go one down and we struggle massively to break teams down

With Gayle up on his own it just goes wide then we have nobody to aim for in the middle. He also dosen't have the presence to hold it up and bring people into play or play one twos off. Was the same against Huddersfield and Fulham. He is a Vardy type in that he needs balls over the top which we don't really have the space for at home or a playmaker with vision behind him to play him in which we don't have. I can't see how it will work with him up front alone at home going forward, Mitrovic with Ritchie and Atsu wide and Perez just off Mitrovic as he always looks far better when Mitrovic plays. Still, 4 points out of Villa and Norwich then we will be looking good with the fixtures we have after that.

I just don't think Gayle up front on his own at home works. Only listened on the radio but it just seemed to break down all the time and we had no options up front and it's pointless putting crosses in to Gayle

Which is exactly why we needed to spend money on a winger in the transfer window. We already have Gayle, Atsu, Ritchie, Perez, Aarrons and Gouffran. I'd much rather have another centre forward and play Gayle out wide or in Diame's position. [/quote/] That you pards?
