We have been chasing shadows for the last 10 games. Manu is last game we won in the league and Trippier was on fire. Yes he has done some weird mistakes, but I dont think you can judge Trippier on the last 10.

You could say that about quite many of our players. Not many who comes out with much dignity after the last month or so. Gordon, Isak and Bruno in some games. Thats about it.

Liverpool managed that game very well without some key players.

I get the FFP, but only pointing out why people dont like to lose Trippier even if its for the good of the club.

I think people understand, but take Trippier out and its not just Trippier that goes. Almiron will crash, the creativity will crash. Apart from Gordon all our attack comes from Bruno/Trippier/Almiron down the right side.

I think its quite significant. If a team like Bournemouth finish above its a very big failure of a season (no matter how much we point out this season is a write off) .

If it was between Trippier and Wilson so yes Trippier for sure. He dont have these muscles injuries and he dictates our play. Hes basically our playmaker along with Bruno.

It might be little shock the first game you play in the PL, but its the language and the managers style you need to adapt (wich was Tonalis problem). As you say Gordon is english and wasnt ready at all.

Much rather spend 30-40m on Kone/Thuram than 50m+ on Onana.

Isnt this the perfect season to let someone adapt?

We are selling Trippier because we cant buy a player this window. To think we will buy a new LB after spending 35m on one is mental.

Said it a few times now but just letting the season fizzle out can harm us in the summer. But I was thinking the same about Spurs and Kane so what do I know.

Played Manu of the park in December. Looked poor for months now so has the whole team. So much of the play goes through Bruno/Trippier. Understand the FFP here, but there will be a big hole without Trippier.

I just think we got enough problems at the moment, and not getting rid of our assist king in January.

Great for what. Hes our most important player behind Bruno.
