  1. No idea why, this fat bloke on https://cl-2016-000049.sparq.me.uk/ is running rings around her. He’s just cross examining her. So far she has came up with good reasons and countered him well. There was a point where the judge even told him to let her speak as he was trying to lead the answers to his agenda by allowing her to only give responses without context. Just recently he has presented her with a document saying one thing, and she has pointed out that the document says the exact opposite to what says it does. There was also a point where she said she had no idea where this figure of £40m had came from before eventually admitting it must have came from herself.

  3. Tony Evans is well connected a Liverpool fan. I dont think we want crazy money we want a club that tries and managed to be successful. I definitely want crazy money.
  4. They chipping in as well? Might as well give up now, have NATO on our backs soon enough. He might have been referring to Keith Moon or Roger Daltrey.
  5. Too many getting wound up over a backup & nothing player.
  6. Canny save against PVA in the derby.
  7. Express: "Newcastle takeover will go through despite delay." Read the article and its based purely off Caulkins comment from Pod on the Tyne. Sneaky bastards.
  8. And have a beer. This saga has almost turned me into an alcoholic. I've replaced my cans about 20 times now. The other thing which annoys me is the people who post in such absolutes about their own opinion: "There's no way this can be rejected based on the WTO report", that kind of thing, it's just such utter bilge, talking like this when they've got no idea at all what the PL can and cannot do. Same with people who say it'll not pass. This is absolutely up in the air right now. Both outcomes are quite definitely possible and have been since day 1, that's the whole point of having a test. I really hope these same overconfident people haven't been going round lording it over all their mates and work colleagues who support other teams, because they could look incredibly stupid soon. My personal expectation is the collapse of the deal, but that's just because we're not allowed anything nice. That's our lot in life. I certainly would never profess to say I know that with utter certainty based on the PL's approval process or the WTO report though. I'm confident it'll happen, based on absolutely nothing. No lording it to anyone at work etc. though for the reasons you mentioned just incase it does collapse. Keeping Ashley isn't what's bothering me: it'll be people like Curtis Woodhouse having a field day & picking apart the imbeciles who support us on twitter that's got me on edge.
  9. About that aye. Have a listen, he explains that in the first 5 minutes or so of the podcast.
  10. I listened to half an hour of it and seemed alright. General gist of it was Caulkins still confident, bulk of the checks have been done, only thing thats stopping it is the privacy and he suspects they'll be negotiating with PIF to make sure its watertight before they come to a conclusion. Sounds positive. I'll give it listen later on. I'd say he definitely didn't sound concerned put it that way.

  12. I don't think Coutinho will be signing for Dalian.
  13. Or Bruce's Ben Arfa at Hull.
  14. No reason not to believe it.
  15. How many days until you reckon until this thread hits 1000 pages?
  16. Give MbS a chance. He hasn't even got the club and you're calling him worse than Ashley.
