Looking forward to the Leisure/training gear, some of the Arsenal and Man U stuff is tremendous.

If Bruno is likely to go, and if Man City get serious I think he will, then Diomande will be the type of high ceiling player we could aim to invest in.
If Man Utd are serious about Todibo then it leaves it really between Chelsea, Spurs and Liverpool who could hit anywhere near to what they’re aiming for fee wise. However Spurs now have Dragusin, VDV and Romero there and Chelsea are constricted by PSR. If Liverpool don’t want him then I fancy we get him.I think we get him for 45 - 50 and Bruno wont be going fucking anywhere.

Decent squad player but doesn’t take us to next level, if only we’d been able to get Cole Palmer instead.

Who wants Thursday and Sunday football next season, it’s a right fucking pain in the arse.

I insist, even if Tonali and Joelinton will be back I think we have to sign a high quality midfielder with great technical ability. Imo an attacking one. We have no playing depth and the space is often too big between midfield and attack. Yes a ball playing CB and playing our more technical fullbacks would also help.
Crying out for some creativity and something a bit different in final 3rd, look very predictable apart from Isak.
-
Team built on sand at the back and lack of quality in midfield no surprise really.

Given how long both Botman and Lascelles are out for, CB is priority number 1.
Absolutely, we need another Botman esque signing if possible.

Those 3 would be superb. But would Mamardashvili come here to not be certain number 1? If we're spending big on a keeper then Pope has to leave, surely. Arsenal are proof it doesn't work having two competing "number 1s".
We'd be better off going for a young keeper who doesn't cost a huge amount who can grow into his own and spend that £40M ish elsewhere.
The way Pope’s shoulder went during a routine save for the 2nd time, I’ve got my doubts about his durability going forward.
-
Diomande, Sesko, Mamardashvili as the 3 main signings and we’d be fucking laughing.
As much as someone like Gibbs White would be great, an injury to Pope and no Botman means priorities are elsewhere for me.

I've never been 100% on the Sesko rumours. Not because I don't think he's any good, I just think if we're going to sign a forward it'll probably be someone more flexible across the front three rather than an out-and-out CF which I think Sesko is?
He could be on the list of signings we'd make if we ended up getting £100m for Bruno and wanted to bring in 5 or 6 players rather than 2 or 3.
I think if Wilson goes we need a target man to give us flexibility, some times you need a bit muscle up front at home in tight games against 10 defenders.

Cant see us filling 70,000 every week mind, especially considering we would have to increase the away allocation, and i cant see teams like Burnley, Sheff Utd, Southampton, Wolves, Fulham, Bournemouth etc would bring 5/6k.
I think 65,000 would be the sweet spot and could probably fill that more regularly.
If we have a stadium which is too big and were not filling it, we still have to pay stewarding, catering etc plus it will look awful on tv.
Why would we have to increase away allocation it’s capped at 3k by PL ?
-
I’d take a top drawer centre back like Scalvini or Diomande above Gibbs-White this summer, not as exciting but if you add Sesko as well it would massively strengthen spine of team and free Isak to play across front 3 if required.

Castle Leazes is the path of least resistance, with an enlarged Leazes Park after SJP is flattened.
-
Think a few would get a shock at the strength of opposition to building on the park, the friends of Leazes Park and every swampy within a 100 miles would be claiming they use the park for yoga every week.

Going to be hell on in the media when he schools Kobi at Old Trafford in a few weeks.

I think the park being a Grade II listed park is the primary issue. Option C should be a non-starter.

Might get Onana for 2 quid after Everton get relegated, what a fucking awful player would rather give Matt Ritchie a 5 year deal.

From a Bournemouth fan:
"Kelly is a very interesting player.
And by that I mean that his defending in certain situations is top class, but in other situations it is below par.
He really excels in an area that most other defenders hate, running back towards his own goal. If there is a ball played over the top and an opposition attacker chasing it then there aren’t many defenders in the league that I would pick over Kelly to handle it. He makes it look effortless at times.
However when he actually has to defend his own penalty area he isn’t great at all. His concentration levels aren’t the best and he regularly loses his man, he is particularly poor when defending crosses. Despite his size he doesn’t really seem to enjoy the physical battle with opposition forwards either, I don’t feel that he is particularly comfortable heading the ball which is obviously not ideal for a centre back. I’d go as far to say that out of all our centre backs if we were sitting deep and defending a lead then he’d be the last of the four I’d want on the pitch.
I think the appeal is that he excels in an area that very few do because his overall defending is pretty ordinary."Can see why he'd appeal to a team such as ourselves who play a higher defensive line.
Last of the four I’d want on the pitch from a Bournemouth fan who watches him every 4 months when he’s fit.
I’d be massively underwhelmed if he was our defensive signing this summer, we need a 1st choice CB as a priority, the saying build from the back is rarely wrong.

Needs to sign somebody technical and creative in the summer if he’s got the keys to the summer warchest.
As great as Gordon is we need a Cole Palmer type on the right who can unlock the door.
Big summer for Eddie needs to show he has the vision to take us to next level.
