  1. Really nice that about time we mixed the home strip up.
  2. Would love to see a young attacking midfielder brought into the mix that offers something different, think we’ve got Bruno, Miley and Tonali who can all play as the anchor man, crying out for a difference maker to add some creativity in certain games. If we qualify for CL and Longstaff, Wilson etc leave, think we need 5 players including a keeper, CB, CM, RW and CF.
  3. I think we might see Mitchell pull a younger player from France, or Spain for the RW spot, when it comes to CB could definitely see either of the Bournemouth lads ending up here.
  4. If we get CL football we need 2 top drawer strikers to rotate, or the season will end up a write off like last season.
  5. Makes you wonder how our average attendance bar the odd exception due to ground redevelopment etc is higher nearly every year than theirs, even when we’ve been in a lower division. Couple this with all mags are plastic and wouldn’t know where SJP is, whilst all mackems actually go to the game and it’s one of life’s great mysteries.
  6. Needs a better song that has no mention of the fucking mackems in it, absolute superstar their name shouldn’t be mentioned in the same breath.
  7. That doesn’t get you interactions on social media, the blokes an embarrassment on a daily basis.
  8. Aye few from work didn’t seem to grasp you could just register for free on site. Think they should find a way of just opening it up to the public without needing a ticket.
  9. Pubs on Percy Street will be rubbing their hands at that route.
  10. Still 81,657 left for the bash on the Moor according to the website, not sure what the figure started at.
  11. Get Knopfler playing local hero and Jimmy singing Big River and might dig my wellies out yet.
  12. Sure I’ve seen Fenway lauding it on the pitch after Liverpool won a trophy. Hopefully we see Yasir on the pitch a few more times over the next few years.
  13. What a load of tosh just because they might not get on a bus, I certainly don’t remember the Keegan promotion from standing outside the civic centre, my memories are Grimsby, Barnsley, Notts County, Tranmere and Peterborough away with thousands of proper football lads watching a great team.
  14. Keith never got off board like many of us he bleeds Black and White, but like many didn’t want to help prolong Ashley’s stay by funding Sports Direct, probably a lot to do with being banned by the club and being completely fucking disillusioned by the whole episode as well.
  15. Reminds me a bit of Waddle with his socks rolled down, doesn’t seem to have the highest work rate times I’ve seen him, but undoubtedly got talent.
  16. Going to be hard to keep the authentic nature of our support, it’s already crept in and would be a sad day if the mass invasions of London for the weekend as an example were replaced by day tripping tourists who rock up with their cameras. I want the club to grow but it’s a very fine balancing act, only the club through ticketing and creating standing areas for like minded supporters can stop the club being swamped. This weekend will only have enhanced our global appeal, the images and raw passion will generate a new wave of fans, the club is very fashionable from the celebs to Fender and a potential superstar in Isak, heady times but we need to keep our local heritage.
  17. Disgrace how do these folk get tickets.
  18. The environmentalists would be quite happy with your last sentence, fuck progress they’d be quite happy if we all lived in tree houses.
  19. Hopefully with winning comes new songs, but think one of the most powerful moments yesterday was in the 2nd half when ‘sing your hearts out for the lads’ was getting belted out.
  20. This from the lot who couldn’t even sell their allocation at Wembley against Charlton, showing themselves up as bitter small time cunts yet again.
  21. I mean if the story was real the cunts are off their tits.
  22. Was great to hear Coming Home Newcastle getting belted out as well, magical scenes that will live long in the memory.
  23. Great support and scenes hope we never lose what makes the club special.
  24. There’ll be aspects of a few stadiums they’ll use I’d imagine, hopefully they piece together the best things and we get something to be proud of and future proof us for next 50 years.
