Every team we’re competing against has strengthened considerably, yet we have gone backwards because of someone’s apparent stubbornness, poor season ahead and in my view the only way to fix it will be a manger change in a few months.

If Eddie has been stubborn of signings, he only has himself to blame when he gets the sack in a few months time.

Probably the wrong term to use, but a player of that calibre going to Saudi without even an attempt by us to get him is poor form.

There is no way he should be allowed to be that stubborn, before the start of the transfer window he should be asked for a number of players in each position he wants to strengthen, if he refuses to give more than one name the choice should be made for him
