I thought collectively we went into our shells (so did the crowd) after their equaliser, we then started to make mistakes, and then chased the game with increasingly rash play and positional lack of discipline. So that’s what I mean when I am talking about bottling it. To me, their equaliser knocked the stuffing out of us and we looked collectively pretty fragile.

We did bottle it, it’s a fair cricitism. Naivety and idiotic play for both goals. 

I will be forever grateful I was at the PSG game, and I’m really proud of how we performed with the squad we had, but I am fucking gutted by some of the mistakes. I’m glad Burn is back and would have him in the side again. He’s a leader and we need that right now. He should be fresh and he also loves defending and I think we need to rest players while also trying to limit the number of chances we concede. Maybe drop Livra, or maybe use him in a more advanced position. If Trippier puts in another shit show, he should sit out.

Can’t wait for this later on.

Every single one of those outfield subs has seem meaningful pitch time for Man U in their career other than Mainoo who's just broken through (but is highly rated) and van de Beek who's massively out of favour, but still cost £25m or something and is a senior player.

 

Still, there's tons of experience on there and players who've played in international and European finals ready to come on.

 

Compare that to two keepers, Paul Dummett, Matt Ritchie, Emil Krafth and four lads with 10 minutes PL experience between them

 

Aye Man U have got it really tough.

 

 

 

There’s no point trying to reason, it’s been years of this pointless wumming on here when it comes to discussing Man Utd.
