  1. Spurs . Levy is almost in the same league as Ashley when it comes to being a bellend.
  2. Agree on Conte, but he’s not a project manager. I don’t think he’d go for it either. Howe would’ve been my choice to replace Bruce under Ashley but I’m not so sure now. Rafa would’ve been perfect but there’s no way he leaves Everton right now. Just nice to be talking about decent managers again to be fair
  3. I was 20 when he took over. Very active on here and in love with my club, pretty much not been seen since . Disillusioned and disengaged describes it well. Living in the midlands outside of a major city means I’ve been mocked by every fan down here who unanimously seems to support Chelsea, Man Utd, Spurs or Arsenal. Found a bit of passion under Houghton in the championship, the season we finished 5th and Rafa but completely disengaged after Rafa went. Had 3 kids since then too so they’ve kept me pretty occupied. My eldest is 9, despite not living in the area his entire life he supports Newcastle because of me. Nice to tell him good times are finally coming after yesterday.
  4. This. Huges was actually quite liked at City at the time, his reputation diminished after. They always wanted their own man, but there was no reason to sack him. They were also 6th and had only lost a few games when they did. Bruce has had the most significant investment of the Ashley era, yet doesn’t think we can compete with Brentford.
  5. Threatened much? This league is an oligopoly in desperate need of shaking up. Ridiculous to think that 6 of these clubs valued the brand so much they tried to leave and form their own league just to line their own pockets a few months ago. Hypocrisy at its finest!
  6. Not been on here for a long, long time but I’m right back in. Cheers lads! 14 year sentence is over! Deserved a post.
