100%, he was poor for us last season too. We stayed up despite him, not because of him.

Its amazing how well Howe has done despite having players like Wood and Longstaff playing regularly.

Happens time and time again, and I completely disagree with it. And yet their argument for not giving that foul on Fraser by the keeper last year was that the opposing player had the ball! He was far more able to influence play than someone who kicks the ball out.

 

There are far too many soft as shite penalties. Puts me off the sport tbh, to some extent. I think the powers that be like lots of penalties because they think it adds to the entertainment.

A foul is still a foul regardless of whether the player is still in control of the ball.

That McAllister seems to have improved loads this season.

That Emerson Royal is awful. Trippier is a million times better.

Don't like Wood but that was a great finish.

Can't wait until we can upgrade on Longstaff.

There are obviously some overreactions and hyperbole on this forum, especially during a match when emotions are high but some posters on here seem to get a hard on over calling other posters 'bed wetters', 'fannies' etc and seem to think it's criminal to say anything negative whatsoever.
