  1. For the people not wanting to sign players from relegation rivals, it's a good job we ignored that when we signed Wilson.

I know we have much better owners now but we can't seem to attract the best players yet, Bruno seems to have the exception.

Main reason he is hated here and elsewhere because he treated the fans and club with contempt. There’s plenty of average managers we’ve had previously whom I don’t have a deep personal loathing of (although quite a few I do ).

Exactly, McClaren is the perfect example. He was rubbish here but seems like a good guy so doesn't get any hate.

  3. He was definitely better than usual the last six months but I wouldn't say he was amazing. Also this highlights how he has never really given 100% for the majority of his time here despite being one of the highest earners.

I don't think he should just be given a free pass for this.

Think we would look far better with Bruno in that role and either Willock or preferably Pacqueta further forward.

I think our problem is also scoring.

Ings is decent, Watkins is incredibly hard working but also very wasteful.

Cameron Archer will feature, I think, he looks the real deal.

I'd still rather have a more reliable source of goals.

Wesley still plays for us. That's a shocking thought. Fuck knows where he'll be on loan next season. The only Brazilian male with no innate football ability whatsoever.

Stick Wesley in central midfield, worked for us.

  5. Wilson is better than Toney, so if and I know it's a big if, Wilson stays fit, I don't think Toney would be happy sitting on the bench.

We should go for a winger than can also play upfront when Wilson's out or a young up and coming striker with lots of potential.

Lingard is essentially a slightly more productive Almiron. If he was our answer to the right wing, it would be incredibly disappointing.

I'm not saying he would be an amazing signing and I wouldn't want him at RW but he's far more productive than Almiron.

Careful lad, you'll have the Wood haters piling in big time with reasonable crack like that.

Daft cunts can't seem to fathom why we paid the release clause required to guarantee us a PL striker straight away or even ponder how he AND all the other "shite" "deadwood" "championship players" managed to get us so high up the table with top 4 form.

So anyone who doesn't agree with you is a 'daft cunt'?

Not going to state my opinions on Wood again, especially as this isn't even his thread but people are allowed to have opinions different to yours.
