agree with that. it wasn’t pretty, and there was a fair few performances worth forgetting, 3 points and a bit of relief is enough 

feel sorry for the lad. he’s had a cracking season, this would have been a day he was really looking forward to 

he had a good game. 

we do have frustrating games or patches where we know we can be far better. but fuck me, 5th and a cup final. howay eddie lad!

had hoped we would take 3 or 4 points from Fulham and Bournemouth at home.. ahead of the 2nd leg cup, then Man City, Forest and Liverpool in a row. Tough bunch of games but we seem to turn up in the big ones .. looking forward to Wednesday though!! 

maybe he just needs eddie to work some magic on him for a few months. he’s definitely no where near the player he was in the 4th finish but if he can recapture some of it, and happy to stay and be squad/fight for his place.. fair enough. you’d think if a higher level murphy replacement comes in, he would be sticking around fighting for his place also, we need a squad to progress
