Even out on the ass end of Africa, the Toon Army were representing. Grown men in tears for what was achieved today. We followed you from the Entertainers to when Sir Bobby pulled us up from our boot straps, and then the dark days of Cashley, we persevered despite being thousands and thousands of miles away. How insane it is that we can connect with a people, a region, a passion and be on the opposite side of the globe. We love you Newcastle and today you showed up and made us proud. I am beside myself with joy. Thank You

Absolute shit today. An example of how to fuck up months of hard work in one afternoon. Speechless really
-
we were in second gear that entire half and Brighton were slack in there passing which helped us. We need to bring more energy second half as Brighton could come out with momentum on their side. That was school boy defending for their goal
-
Not consistently good today but the patches during which we were on song was quite enjoyable. Tonali goal will live long in my memory. Didn't understand the changes though. Not questioning taking Bruno and Isak off but would have wanted Osula up front. Not convinced with playing without a front man to help us get back up the pitch. We just tend to sit back then and invite danger. The reshuffling of the midfield every 5 minutes thereafter was confusing to say the least

Tonali really busting a gut to get us back into this

great change. Never convinced by having 2 left footers in there. Hopefully Schar can pop some balls in behind to give Bournmouth something else to think about
-
we need to wake the f*ck up here
-
Not sure I get the Osula sub. We have no outlet in the centre forward position
-
What a f*king strike. a beauty
-
Longstaff, Barnes and Miggy have been dire. Ponderous and wasteful. Targets not far behind them as well. So disjointed in the final third
-
Triple change...ffs we need our subs to bring some intensity and creativity
-
yeah. nondescript.

Did not seem to be up to speed today and based on the standards he sets for himself, he is probably the first to acknowledge that. Hopefully it's all fitness related which is solvable. He has lots of credit in the bank as far as I concerned. Just pray it's not anything transfer related

Monster sports weekend for me, wearing my SA rugby shirt now as we going to moer the aussies in a few min, then swap for my NUFC shirt, and later on Sunday morning pulling on my Dricus Du Plessis gear. I am expecting a win from all 3, less confident about Dricus than the rest

On the front foot from kickoff, press like hell and 1 up in the first 15. If we don't sit back after that I expect a comfortable 3-0 result, otherwise a tense 2-1 result
