Uefa are a bunch of corrupt bastards that's why.

It still does in an way, that was an accounting write off.

Pay him off.

If I was him, I'd be probably use the situation to get a pay rise hence why there's nothing from him. Perfect reasonable situation. -
Luton Town vs. Newcastle United: 23/12/23 @ 15:00 (No UK TV)

Also just got into a nice rabbit hole of watching lots of 93/94 games on YouTube. As I've said in a previous thread, the football we played that season is like nothing else. -

Just watched the highlights of the fa cup replay. Mike Hooper was utterly shite. -

Think so. I remember it for Barry Venison's ridiculous overhead clearance. -
It's been an issue at other clubs for a long time.

Is this serious? Very mackemesq.

That new format being abandoned would be a step in the right direction.

Football 365.
-
TV companies will be asking for refunds with the new contract starting new next year for more games if this happens.
-
Honestly the new champions league format is gonna be such a turn off for fans eventually. Football will eventually eat itself.
-
They are proposing salary caps with the super league.
-
Sounds like what the yanks have for their leagues then except a different ref.

Honestly consolidating your position as we jumped as we did last season is actually a bigger achievement than the jump itself imo. You see many examples of teams either come up or survive relegation and then get near to the top the next season (or top with Leicester) based on momentum etc and then completely full apart the season after. We are nowhere near doing that and can still easily do better than last season still (FA cup win).

Tight win but wouldn't be surprised at a score draw. -

Managers are supposed to be long term appointments as well and they were back in the day.... As people are seeing DoF's to be worth their weight in gold nowadays expect the same with these positions and for people who are very good at the roles to jump ship much more quickly imo. -
Chelsea 1-1 Newcastle United (19/12/23) Chelsea win 4-2 on penalties

Just watched the highlights of this. Few thoughts: Defending by Chelsea for Wilson's goal Dubs looked ok and comfortable from what I saw. Can see what Tripps is trying to do with the backpass header but it's such a ridiculous risk: His pen is one of the worst I've seen. (Also the people commentating on whether his private life is having problems can STFU). -

If he's moved on then fair enough as long he's done his job while he's been here (which is a yes from me), should never get too attached to the people in these types of positions. Seeds are sowed. -
Xmas ruined.

Football is never played like this. -
Diabolical half of football.

Every team has a season like this....
