He did some weird decision making, especially the moment close to the end where Gordon was in a great position to receive the pass. Just very unlike him, he usually seem to have great awareness of where his team mates are. I hope it was just exhaustion and frustration that made him miss it, a small fear starting to build up inside of me though that he built up a small beef against Gordon for never passing him the ball in similar situations though.

Time for Isak to prove that he is good enough for Dortmund.

Yeah, by the sounds of it, it seems it could potentially be a maybe for him to get fit enough for the games but by how unlikely it is for Sweden to qualify he likely decided to not bother.

I would say this is the norm for most big(Domestically) European clubs whether they are French, Dutch, Swedish or German etc.

I really hope he gets to start against Sheffield personally. After all of these last games he have played against good defences that have marked him well ever since Manchester city, I think its important he get to play against a team on a lower level where he'll likely find more space as well considering they're playing at home. Its easy to say that he always should be in great spirits due to his salary etc but barely receiving a proper ball for a couple of games besides the start against Brighton where he did poorly, its easy for the joy of playing the game to disappear a little. If they want rotate I'd much prefer Wilson starting against Burnley, who I think is a better suited player for teams defending low.

Let me rephrase myself then. I don't think he is slow in taking the decisions when he see the options, as in before receiving the ball. I do feel however that he is a bit slow on register what is going on when he doesn't know where his team mates are. I guess the situational awareness that the most elite players have is what I feel that he lack little, but maybe I'm just bitter cunt that imagining myself stuff.

Don't want to be too harsch on him but I don't like that he don't seem that quick in his decision making. I think he is very good when he got time with the ball and can clearly see his options but I often think the play goes too slow when the balls get to his feet and we need to be quick on the transition.

Highly doubt we'll sell anything we want to keep.

Entire team besides Pope felt a little hungover today. Not that they didn't want it but the precision wasn't there when it was needed. Don't really feel I can praise anyones performance today but Pope's and maybe Trippier. Isak was okay but didn't nearly feel as good as he normally is, was quite sloppy on a lot of actions. But can't expect to never have a bad day and its Arsenal.

I disagree with the ones thinking he was our best player in the first half. I don't think he was bad but it felt like he should had scored the goal where he was one and one and rather looking for options than finishing himself. Maybe its lack of confidence and trying too hard, but it felt sometimes he had tunnel vision towards the goal, but that's me being overly critical. Either way, I feel Isaks showing in the 2nd half hopefully will grow him rather than him falling in to negative thoughts.

Another great performance. Many seem to think Wilson coming on was the game changer but I rather see it as Isak being moved out to the left where he could contribute more to the game as he didn't get any real delivery in the first half. Not that Wilson didn't do it great, he was excellent. Almost felt like a statement how he wanted others to deliver the ball to him.

He have certainly been better under Howie, but I watched him through the entire session at Real Sociedad and his weakness during that area was most certainly to produce from cross balls, and one of the reasons he struggled in his last season for them. He have scored some good goals here though so I hope he have developed that area and that it just isn't a fluke but it still have me scared a little against teams defending low.

This game feels very icky going in to, Willock and Bruno probably spent and Isak isn't the best player in the box even if he have improved. Just have an overall bad feeling about this game as I feel we'll struggle if they park the bus. I feel like Wilson is preferred here.

Lol sorry, I guess that's what a few quick beers does to you after a long night shift and you feel creative.

You're cold, like ice, Your touch, unrivaled, one run, could kill, oh god, that skill! I want to love you but I better not rush, you rush! you're showing skill that makes my heart melt in to a crush. I want to watch you but I want it with greed! With greed! You make my desires kill me while not watching you play on that field! You're ISAK! You have my love completely sealed. You're ISAK! I don't ever want to lose this greed. (Alice cooper - Poison)
