  1. It would change a lot, as noone seeing him play for a year we'd be lucky getting £50 mill for him, unless we want to keep him for another year that is.
  2. Might just be my anxious self. But holy fuck the frustration if an unfit Isak got a bad injury playing for Sweden and is out for a year.
  3. Isak could also get injured. Which potentially could lead us having to sell Tonali or someone while stuck with this C to meet PSR rules next summer.
  4. I agree with this, there is also some risk in keeping him. What if he gets some bad injury now that we have signed players for quite a lot. Then we might be stuck with him while having to sell other players to not break PSR rules.
  5. I believe he'll have a rather short career as well, at least as a striker. Body combined with playing style doesn't bold well for a long career.

Seems pretty average speed and def slower with the ball than our current striking striker. A little worrying though that like none of his goal seems to be from counter attacking, maybe he is not good at running the channels?

Looks like a less elegant and smooth Isak but that does a similar job, he also seem to be stronger than Isak in some areas.
  8. If we can keep him that is fine. I just don't want PSR coming biting our ass later if we don't get a good price for Isak next summer, and we'll have to sell players.
  9. I'm so bad with these PSR rules etc, is keeping him even an option? We're on like 150 million in spending.
  10. I'm starting to get the feeling more and more he is just very annoyed with us. Could be that he told management last summer after the broken "promise" that he wanted to leave and then dragged his feet the first games. Then they told him to man up and just play the season out and he'd get to leave, 12 months later, and lots of rejections. Here we are..
  11. Well, now that our representatives been there, giving assurances and apologizing for broken promises or what not, let's see if he can grow up and get back to training and apologize to his team mates and Eddie.
  12. Why does one even bother to watch this shit sport.
  13. Isak will now learn first hand why you don't talk shit about your employer, whether he is in the right or wrong. He'd should had kept quiet.
  14. I'd think some sort of message would be fine. I don't like the idea of booing or chanting negative stuff during the game while he is playing though. It'd be distracting for the players on the pitch, and besides, they know Isak on a personal level and regardless how we feel, he probably have close friends in the squad that also likely wouldn't appriciate us spew hatred over him for a prolonged time, even if he deserves it.
  15. A new contract with lower wage but with high bonuses for good performances would be interesting, probably would sit better with our other players as well, knowing he'll have to perform to earn his money. Only problem with that is the drama that'll follow if Isak doesn't get to play..
  16. Some nightly thoughts. The guy have been in far worse situations over his years, he have had a really good season in spain, struggled in this national team and havn't uttered a word or complaint. Neither have he done until now in a Newcastle shirt. Something feel a bit wrong? I don't think he have any ill will against Eddie, and still Eddie seem to be surprisingly forgiving, even though that is how that good man would be either way. My gut feeling just tells me there is something that been brewing for quite some time, like he absolutely despise our management, beyond repair, like there is no trust at all between them. And if its the case, whatever brewed this feelings seem to be more than just a denied contract? Either is that or is agent have him completely by the balls.
  17. Don't think it is the case, but could be something more than that. I believe I remember reading they are quite a dangerous lot, luring young prospects in early with gifts and stuff to make them sign for them. Probably not as fun once their name is on that contract.
  18. I mean really? Isak is being a cunt in every way, but you should know the consequences of actually talking shit out right in Media about your current employer. If he went havoc on Newcastle in Media he'd be cleaning the toilets and more for the coming three years.
  19. Didn't say it was smart reasoning from his part and he is not a cunt for acting as he does, but I do believe that is what is happening. Club have known he wanted to leave for a good amount of time but refuses to sell unless for 150-200M which he knows noone will bid for him. Doesn't make him not a cunt though, but most people here seem to think he suddenly announced he wanted to leave to the club a few weeks ago which I don't believe to be true.
  20. People will hate me but I think there is some truth to this, regarding that he told long before that he wanted to leave. My logic says that this would explain why this fired up after the Ekitike thing, he had been quiet until then to let the club find a replacement. But the situation with Ekitike made him feel like we wouldn't sell him no matter the circumstances.
  21. I'd believe it to be true. Would also explain why this blew up after the Ekitike situation as in Isak's mind it was likely a suitable replacement for him.
  22. Might not even be about Liverpool anymore though, might be sheer desperation out of thinking he dug the hole to deep and he is too cowardly to face the crowd, or simply don't want to be playing in front of fans he knows resent him.
  23. Fuck sake, grow up you twat. Even more annoying you never get to hear from the person himself for some damn clarity. Tired of all this fucking speculation.
  24. Depends what you been with playing hardball, I was more talking about throwing him in to the reserves for the rest of the season or make him run out his contract on the bench or similar. I'm not in a opinion where I believe its a good image for the club.
