  3. Everton have been really poor at home this season ( and last season ? ) so, despite our injury list, I'll be disappointed if we don't come away with three points. Safe journey to all those making the trip. Evening kick offs on Thursday's are a bloody joke, especially for the travelling fans, but I guess if you take the money from Sky / TNT / Amazon then it's something you have to put up with.

    I'm pleased they've sacked Mowbray, he's actually a decent manager so they are plainly still deluded about what their standing in the game currently is and what they can realistically achieve in the short to medium term.

    Some truth in this. I'm in my 60's and, though I acknowledge the improvements made for fans over the decades, I do miss the rawness of what I experienced in my youth. Mind you, I remember my dad saying much the same many years ago ! I don't get to as many games at SJP as I used to though, which is probably par for the course as you get older.
