They're decent sides in weaker leagues that were potential banana skins. Qarabag beat Frankfurt, Copenhagen, Benfica and drew with Chelsea. Union beat PSV, Galatasaray and Atalanta.

He's also overperformed on our position relative to expenditure every previous season which seems to be ignored too. Horrible rat fanbase we have where everyone seems to think things will just be better every season.

R16 in the Champions League while also getting to the Semi Final in the League cup, and R16 of the FA cup. I'm pretty sure there was a point in the season where only Barcelona had played the same amount of games as us in Europe. The idea that any of the none big 6 clubs that finished above us would have done that well while playing so many games against actual good quality opposition is laughable. Other than Bradford city in the league cup every other team we played in the domestic trophies was a premier league side.
