Manage an unhappy player who could suck the joy out of a hugely cohesive squad with great moral, or lose him and have a wedge to re invest. One other factor, which I dont think Ive seen mentioned is Howe and Richard hughes (Their sporting director) worked together for years and years, I wouldnt be shocked if this move and the call last week doesnt have Howe's blessing
