Guest sicko2ndbest
Our coefficient (points allocated by way of success in europe) was the best in the UEFA cup last season based on our previous ventures. 2 seasons out of europe will make it doubly hard when we get back there. Only the top 4 had a better coefficient than us, come august 2008 you can probably add Everton and Spurs to that list as well.
BottledDog
Well. That's a bit of a pisser. Still, we are clearly moving forward so it's all good.

Guest Geordiesned
We're starting to fall down the list... http://www.xs4all.nl/~kassiesa/bert/uefa/data/method3/trank2008.html Although to be honest, on current form I'd be happy just to see us back in Europe never mind whether or not we'd be seeded when we get there! Robster
I think we should maybe concentrate on just getting into Europe first before worrying about how will perform when we are there.
wacko
You're coefficient will drop by about 20 points when your 03/04 season is off the card. It's weighted over 5 seasons so one or two bad seasons won't kill your coefficient, the same as one or two good seasons won't get you in the top spots. Everton would have to win the UEFA Cup back to back to overtake NUFC.
