Atlético's president, Miguel Ángel Gil Marín, has said this week that they just refused an offer for Agüero. He has revealed that they will allow him to leave the club if he wishes to, though.

Yea he really is. Just don't let him take penalties.

For real, though, he's a good player and can score against anyone imo. Scored a great goal against Brazil in the confederation's cup.

There really is no way Donovan should have been in MLS for the last five years. It's prevented him from fulfilling his potential.

He didn't want to go.  He was giving many "life lines" to get out of the MLS but turned them all down.  He's got no bottle when it comes to playing in Europe.

I must say I'm not expecting much from Donovan. But perhaps he could prove to be a great little steal, if only for 3 months.

Let's hope he doesn't get injured...

On the plus side, he's surely an improvement on Jo. I've given him a chance due to him not being as disastrous in a couple of recent games but he returned to form against Spurs.

You'd think he'd be more of a replacement for the likes of Pienaar than Jo. He's not a striker.

At least I'll be able to settle once for all the argument with my yank friends that Donovan "is world class".

 I'll be doing the same.

Jo barely passes as a footballer.  bluelaugh.gif

Debatable.  He likes to play in a front-three and also plays striker for the USMNT.

Why aren't the Galaxy fans going Apeshit?

MLS season is over for the next few months.

Didn't stop them with wor David.

He stayed until the end of the Italian season though which overlaps with the MSL.

Donavan did 3 months last season with Bayern.
