(Daily Mirror) Real have again suggested they are ready to abandon their attempts to sign him as the Red Devils do not want to sell him. (Sun) But the Spanish club are prepared to pay Ronaldo £300,000-a-week after tax in a £75m deal over five years to lure him to the Bernabeu. It's well known that you're worth £300k pw, I was talking about footballers! I don't think anyone in the game is worth that sort of money. That said, if you are going to pay someone such a ridiculous salary it might as well be the best player on the planet. Off the subject a little, Jonathan Ross gets paid £6m per year, or £115,000 per week. Why aren't people more up in arms about that? At least footballers are athletes who train hard every day for their money. Wossy is just a gobby prick who takes home a bucket load of OUR money for being rude, obnoxious and not very funny. There for, in my opinion, he deserves to be the highest paid footballer. However, £300,000 is a fuck load of money!! Sorted for life after a few months!!
