CHELSEA MANAGER LATEST

Chelsea have offered AC Milan a world record 'transfer fee' of £20m in an attempt to bring their manager Carlo Ancelotti to Stamford Bridge. (Sunday Express)

 

TRANSFER RUMOURS

Sir Alex Ferguson has desperately been trying to speak to Cristiano Ronaldo while on holiday in France but the Manchester United winger will not answer his manager's calls, increasing Ferguson's fears that the winger will join Real Madrid. (News of the Word)

 

Sources close to the Manchester United boss have ridiculed reports that he has been barred from a private meeting with Ronaldo, insisting Ferguson never had plans to break his family holiday. (Mail on Sunday)

 

Jose Mourinho has made Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard a £30m summer target but the Inter Milan boss has been told he would be wasting his time making an official bid. (News of the World)

They love to create rumours about Mike Ashley. There always has to be an ulterior motive for the guy or something.  :rolleyes:

 

I think it's clear that Keegan is here for the duration of his contract and maybe beyond that. They're paying a guy to do a job, there was a buzz about the place when we went on a good little run, and to sack him and pay him God knows how much in compensation would be lunacy. Ashley will know he's onto a winner with Keegan, just on the amount of merchandise the guy has sold alone and the attractive football he wants.

Friend of mine knows our Financial Director who apparently says Ashley is looking to sell to some Arabs....

 

I heard a similar story, except Ashley was actually looking to sell some Arabs.
