He's been here since 1997, that's 11 years, and yet no testimonial? Why ever not, he is a huge supporter of Macmillan Cancer, would of thought he would have jumped at the chance to make a large amount of money for them if offered a testimonial. Maybe the club have just overlooked it.

Most players choose too play their testimonial after they have finished their career at the club, and I'm sure that's the case with Shay as well. It's not about the club, they would have arranged it if Shay wanted his testimonial last summer.

He didn't want one. He had a charity dinner instead.

Shay is brilliant...just as good as any keeper IMO. Steve Harper is also very good..and he could be at a good club and in the England squad...I've never known a player so loyal

 

Dont be so stupid.

 

Have you seen the competition?  A keeper from League 2 got in the last squad!
