Hull boss Phil Brown admitted he was delighted to have drawn Newcastle in the FA Cup.

 

He told BBC Look North: "I must admit I punched the air. One, it was a home tie. Two, it was a big club and three, it's winnable."

 

Brown added that another long-term injury victim, Anthony Gardner, could also be fit for the tie on 3 January.
