In which case he was poor in Euro2008 and he's been average so far this season (by world standards) meaning he effectively won it for playing well between January and May. Actually, Kaka came either third/fourth/fifth. Messi came second. Messi and Kaka didnt have a chance of winning because neither won a trophy last season.
