AyeDubbleYoo
Joey7Barton Joseph Barton by NUFCThreatLevel@ @Chubbza tiote and krul will be sold as soon as there's a significant bid or the ask for a new deal, jonas and collo off by this time nx yr He needs to shut the f*** up. Why? It's been obvious to most for months and months that this is what the plan is. Barton is just saying it, nothing wrong with that. It really hasn't. There's no way the club is actively planning to sell Tiote and Krul. Obviously if Chelsea come in with a £40m bid we will probably sell, but the vast majority of clubs are in that position. I am worried about the contracts of the likes of Colo and Jonas though, as they must be on more than we're offering to new players. You and a few others must be living on a different planet if you think that's not the case. It's become quite clear that ANY player has a price on his head and it won't have to be a large amount (as shown by the Enrique departure). Ashley is happy to keep us in the PL while recovering of much money as possible. Barton probably has a better idea of what's happening than us, it's worth listening TBH We had to sell Enrique for slightly less than he's really worth because his contract was ending. I just don't see any evidence that we're looking to sell our best players all the time. We have a lot of failings, but that's not one of them IMO. Cajun
Would be worth seeing Tiote getting a 3-match ban to break this c***s leg. Nice one What good is he doing? Telling the fans something they already know? Good lad! Needs to f*** off and keep out of it tbh, doesn't help anyone have this s*** aroudn the club. Why not? The s*** is here anyway. And the ownership have noone to blame but themselves for that s*** being there. As far as I'm concerned, he can say what he likes. If people are glad to see the back of him/don't like him saying this stuff, then don't read it and don't get bothered by it., We have just brought in some new players (believe it or not) they don't need this s*** when they are trying to settle into a new club. As said, it's not exactly new is it? Wow Joey, cheers for that, didn't realise that was happening. Needs to concentrate on QPR, he has f***ed off now to an "ambitious" club, why doesn't he concentrate on them. I highly doubt that they'll care about what he's saying. And if they do, then it's not the only criticism/issue that will come their way - from fans, press etc. They won't give two fucks and if you don't, then don't read them. Let him ramble away. I would be a little pissed of our new star signing seemed more concerned with his old club than mine what do you think about his comments regarding our new young left back? Acceptable or just being a cunt because he is bitter about a mate being replaced? Should he just be allowed to rip the club apart because we hate Ashley? How far is too far as long as it teaches Ashley a lesson?
Stottie
His own agent lies at least as much as Ashley and Dekka. When he signed, wasn't there a snag until we paid his Citeh loyalty bonus? Basically he's just on the lookout for number one. He's just clever enough to know what fans want to hear.
JH
It's a couple of Tweets from Joey f***ing Barton ffs. You'd think he launched a National advertising campaign of him kicking a Magpie up the arse while smoking a copy of the Evening Chronicle and shitting on the Tyne Bridge. Because you're pissed at the ownership too? Just as much a selfish attitude as Joey fucking Barton. I hate the clowns in charge and since I've been here I've made that clear (even been ridiculed by some of you who are now high and mighty). But I will NEVER be grateful or appreciative of some cunt publicly and constantly slagging the club off. Like I said before...We should all be protective of the club as an entity. It's not defined by the current or ex players. Nor is it defined by the current or ex owners. We need to have some pride back in the support and hate those who attack it as much as those who run it badly. Sorry, but the completely justifiable anger for the cunt of an owner is clouding a lot of people's judgement of the cunts who also continue to embarrass us, shit stir and slag of new blood. You're so right mate, seems like people almost take pleasure in NUFC looking bad at the moment, just because Ashley happens to be in charge.
ryanegg
Joey's right in everything he says except about Santon. I don't know how people can't agree with him. I'm still gutted he's left, but can see exactly why he did and I think most people would of in his situation.
Beren
Long may he tweet. Or blog, hopefully. Fantastic entertainment, honest and occasionally gives us insight none of us have into club affairs. Don't believe for a second Ashley believes in true professionalism and as such don't think Joey is obliged to reciprocate. Furthermore, I think most social etiquette is bollocks, personally - so happy for him to speak his mind.

Spot on, feels like there is more 'ambition' to give it to Ashley and Lambyarse than there is to stick up for our club. Barton needs to go fuck himself basically, followed the money despite a moral crusade so should keep his head down rather than keep up this pathetic pantomime. Guest bimpy474
Thing with Joey, despite his i'm getting my life turned around stuff, which he has to his credit. He takes absolutely no responsibility for his actions at all it seems, its never his fault, fully, partly or remotely, its an astounding level of arrogance and own self importance. Also is it just me, but despite his obvious intelligence and charm, he is very very immature, its hard to spot but if you look you can see it. JH
It's rubbish that like - Nobody takes pleasure in this. I just don't see how his Tweets are making any significant difference. Will probably be brushed over by most people. He's just a disgruntled ex-employee. Most don't give a second thought to them. If you don't care for him, ignore him. Cajun
No they're right, long may he continue ripping into the club and our new players No chance this will be picked up by the media or anything like that, as long as Ashley is one of those who reads it it's all good
JH
Oh, and for what it's worth, Barton isn't attacking the club at all. He even mentions Llambias and Ashley personally. If the club isn't defined by owners, why have your feathers ruffled by this?

Beren
Love the abuse he's being singled out for because he's been privy to more of the reality of the club than we'll ever know for certain. His tweets could just easily read as the "Last Posts of this Member" for about 95% of people on this board ffs. Big difference is what we say isn't taken as gospel, isn't seen my over a million (easy) people, and isn't spread across the net, newspapers and TV with more hungry journos gagging for more mud to sling. His rants go stella every time. There is a big difference. His tweets only represent himself and his own opinions and thoughts though, mate! If anything, something like NUFC.com is a bigger problem. Though the authors very admirably go to great lengths to ensure to make clear they only speak for themselves, it will often be seen as representative of all fans. There's absolutely no reason why he should be discriminated against because he is willing to be transparent about the evils of the club behind closed doors. I'd rather know than not, personally. Nearly all his managers and virtually every journ who's interviewed him has said, he is very intelligent and ingaging, also the fact he gained 8 gcse's, if they count nowadays. By the way intelligence doesn't mean shite if you have no common sense imo, to me thats like being in a lovely boat but having no oars to paddle with. AyeDubbleYoo
I think Barton is intelligent in a way, he's just also a bit immature and lacks self awareness, so he places too much importance on his schoolboy posturing and philosophy quotes he gets from Google. Either way, I just think he should respect the fact that he's a QPR player now and has no business slagging off NUFC in public.

Very true and impossible to measure. what else are they likely to say ? , Well usually its the foreword in an article that goes on to slate him off (justly usually), so they dont have to say it at all if they didn't want to or think it to be true. Started this argument before he made that Tweet. He clearly states on many occasions about not making enough quality signings - what are players like Cabaye supposed to think with those kinds of comments? If he didn't get a bumper contract at QPR he would've fallen out with the new players in a very short period of time I'd imagine, the only difference being they wouldn't have bitched about it on twitter. timeEd32
His first tweet is fine and even the second to some extent, though borderline. Commenting on new players is just completely uncalled for. Can't wait to stuff them in 2 weeks time.
