Guest elbee909
Did my ears deceive me or did John Barnes come out with some bollocks about how Andreas Andersson went on to have a great career with AC Milan AFTER coming here? He saw out his career with AIK as far as I know.

Guest elbee909
Probs meant JDT. He mentioned them both in the same breath, so unless he meant JDT twice...
Guest alex
John Barnes said both Andreas Andersson and JDT went on to have successful careers at AC Milan. He was getting mixed up though. We bought AA from Milan.
Guest
He does have a lot of knowledge about us to be fair to him, particularly from the late 90s when he played for us. I think that was more just a mistake than being thick.

Guest dasflenst
I've never heard a co-commentator speak as much as John Barnes. He was loving their 2 holding players system as he never stopped mentioning the advantages of it. Also, the Northern Irish presenter was really impressed with Steven Taylor's Geordie accent, having been born in London, when in fact he has lived most of his life in Newcastle. Guest ticaL
Not as bad as the guy on Newcastle world, who must be a Dream Team fan..... "Crossed in by hleb........and headed over by Didier Baptiste" Class... In general though commentators are shit look at Mick Mccarthy, "Ya bastid, well Ribery is terrible, he isn't up to the standard needed to play in the French side", ergo he's fucking clueless. Yes, that quote is paraphrased.
