I very specifically remember a team being told to leave the field and them refusing to play because a president or prince or something was so disgusted by the ref or the result. In my mind it was definitely a Middle Eastern country, possibly Saudi Arabia and it was at USA '94. When I google it, it's like it never happened. I'm nowhere near finding it. Would they play off the right in a front three or in midfield somewhere or maybe even right back? Did we ever deploy Solano in 4-3-3? He had stamina, his tenacity was underrated and he was proper scrappy for his size - but not well suited to RB duties. I think he'd excel as a wide forward in today's game.
