Daft questions (football edition)

Can't recall anybody wanting us to sign Adam Armstrong, but thinking about it even now it might not be that bad of a shout. Say we want Osula to go on loan and are willing to sell one of Gordon or Barnes to fund a superstar right winger or marauding part-cover for Isak. Well in that situation Armstrong might be ideal as third-choice cover for the left wing and striker positions, given that he'd be cheap, homegrown and surely willing to sit on the bench. After the likes of Almiron and Murphy, he's talented enough to be Howe's next reclamation project.

Why is it that players in Spain always get done for tax evasion? I feel like I don’t see it in other countries. Is it because the Spanish tax authorities do their job more? Or is the tax system just a mess there and it’s easy to mistakenly abuse it? Feels very odd how often it happens with football players and managers in Spain

Osula needs to start showing what he's about or get him booted. None of this loan him out shite, unless we sign another striker to add to Wissa and Isak who's going nowhere this summer.

You know how teams have to announce their team sheets 75 minutes (I think, unless it's still 60) before kick off?

What happens if a player who is named gets injured during the period between the team sheet announcement and kick off? Doesn't matter how unlikely it may be, just want to know what the rules are/where I can find that specific information.

Unless it's changed, you can move one of the bench players into the starting eleven, but your bench will be one short.

It happens regularly enough.

I'm sure Melchester Rovers done it once. Made a huge signing, kept it quiet until the team was announced to huge speech bubbled gasps from the crowd (that was when the team was announced at about 10 to kick off) I think it was Supermac or Trevor Francis, someone like that.
