NUFC transfer rumours in the press

Recommended Posts

We'll have more success selling Amalfitano but we couldn't give Obertan away, just an awful player and i can't see any top flight club wanting him.

Obertan was Pardews idea.

Says it all, really.

No wonder Ashley wanted someone else to make transfer decisions.

But Kinnear ? Out of frying pan and all that

Kinnear is just on a massive euro piss up.

He's on Eurotrash next week telling everyone how he bucked Lulu Ferrari.

How can we possibly think about buying players when we are fighting to keep our own, let's be realistic.

Funny, Pardew has basically said this in the past.

Battling.

If it took the sale of Cabaye to fund the purchase of Thauvin and Gomis then so I'd gladly take that.

Still stand by this.

I don't think that's too ridiculous. But the problem with Gomis isn't the fee, it's the principle that we're being taken for a ride. And I think we could afford Thauvin anyway if we wanted.

If we bought an attacking midfielder to go with it then you have a deal.

We don't need to sign anyone.

We've learned from last year when we only signed Anita. That was one of the learnings from our end of season review. We all recognise that.

Scottish Mag

Cabaye as good as gone, Jonas injured, and getting bummed on the first day. We have to sign two at a bare minimum, right?

But can we get them over the line?

They'll be playing under Pardew. May as well just get two homeless bums to play for us instead, they'll be free.

I hope you didn't come in here looking for some hope?

There is none ... we have been linked with nobody.

It's all broken beyond repair.
