Still Not Worthy Of A Thread

He would definitely have been considered.  It all depends on who is fit and in form at the end of the season.  If all the strikers are fit then he would be unlikely to go.

Damn shame for the lad. Had an outside chance of goign to the Euros

Nah he was 5th/6th in queue in all likelihood.

Way behind Rooney, Sturridge, Kane, Welbeck imo.

I would even have him behind Vardy personally.

What a shame for the scousers though. not.

Can't see Sturridge or Welbeck going to the Euros like.

When fit Sturridge is England's best striker by a country mile.

The College Dropout

In all likeliness Welbeck misses out with injury. Sturridge 50/50 based on his injury record. From that very realistic scenario he's really knocking on the door.

the point was it wouldn't be surprising if Sturridge misses out. Same with Wilshere. You pretty much have to plan for their absence.

Oh I absolutely agree with that. Still can't see him going, unfortunately.

Brummie

Tim Sherwood was in no mood for negativity on Friday, saying he is "100% certain we'll be in the Premier League next season".

Despite speculation that has cast doubt over his future at Villa Park, Sherwood was on the front foot.In answer to some other reports, he asserted that, "there's not a player that we have brought into the club that I haven't liked or wanted".

After being booed off after losing to Stoke last time out Sherwood was equally confident that he'll win them around. "They were singing my name three weeks ago - they'll be singing my name in another three weeks."

Vintage Sherwood knobhead.

Just seen this on Football365.  :D

Tim Sherwood

Depending on what you read and who you believe, Sherwood’s got one, two, three, four or five games to save his job (and reputation). Chelsea (a), Swansea (h), Southampton (a), Tottenham (a), Manchester City (h). Ouch.
