Still Not Worthy Of A Thread

Does anyone else find Gabriele Marcotti on the Game podcast incredibly  irritating man?  His debating style involves shouting over other people, he is contrary often just for effect and lastly (but almost most importantly), I genuinely loathe the way he puts on the accent of the country of the particular player he is talking about (as long as they come from Spain, Italy, Portugal or France - doesn't seem to bother with any Northern European countries). Oh and always bangs on about MLS not being called 'the MLS'.

How is that Podcast?

There was flagrant use of "shuttler" on the Football Ramble this week and NO tells me that's a no no.

It is a good podcast - prefer Guardian Football Weekly myself as they take themselves a bit less seriously, but still worth a listen.

I enjoy the GFW a lot too. Good balance between bants, insight and opinion.

How long has Dion Dublin been on Homes Under the Hammer?!

[emoji38]

Aye I had to double take that. Went on a little scout to see how it came about and found out he'd released his own percussion instrument. The Dube:

Dion Dublin is a fascinating man.

According to urban myth around these parts, he also has a Tavernier.

Damn shame for the lad. Had an outside chance of goign to the Euros

Nah he was 5th/6th in queue in all likelihood.

Way behind Rooney, Sturridge, Kane, Welbeck imo.

I would even have him behind Vardy personally.

What a shame for the scousers though. not.

Can't see Sturridge or Welbeck going to the Euros like.

When fit Sturridge is England's best striker by a country mile.

Oh I absolutely agree with that. Still can't see him going, unfortunately.
