joeyt
Think Idrissa Gueye will leave them but if you're a top division club you aren't going to touch any of their players unless you take a chance on Amavi
Conjo
If I were Villa i´d do anything in my power to get rid of Lescott and Richards. Their arrogance last season was quite something, and to believe it will be any better this season when they probably think they are way to good for this league could potentially make things even worse. SEMTEX
Pelle isn't wanted at Southampton. So he should leave. He's also kind of s***, so I seriously doubt there are too many decent teams wanting to pay big money for him. Why would Southampton accept less if China offers £13m? I wouldn't say he's shit. Would walk into at least 6 or 7 premiership teams who are a far higher level than the Chinese league. West Brom vs a career being PAID in China. Can't blame him for taking the latter. Either way its career ending.

Tiotes Witch Doctor
Be funny if they also paid in installments. Think I'd rather just let him go for free than suffer the indignity of chasing up the quid
Guest
Is there an actual story behind why it was only a quid?
Tiotes Witch Doctor
Wasn't there a time recently where Blackpool couldn't afford to pay their players? Would imagine it could have something to do with that. Like an assurance that they could f off on the cheap if they didn't get paid.
Stifler
Is there an actual story behind why it was only a quid? Clause in his contract that if they dropped to League 2 then he could go for £1. The contract actually says 100 pence apparently.
Figures 1-0 Football
Blackpool are a right mess at the moment, I remember a good few years ago (5 or 6 maybe) when I worked in a hotel their owner was staying there (Owen Oyston). He was with some lass who must have been young enough to be his daughter, absolutely hammered in the hotel bar about 11pm on a school night. He tipped me £20 so I was quite impressed. Not sure if she was a regular piece or a paid for one, either way she was stunning.

Figures 1-0 Football
Aston Villa have signed young Reading midfielder Aaron Tshibola on a four-year contract for an undisclosed fee. The 21-year-old Royals youth product played 17 times for the club since his Football League debut in a 4-0 defeat at Nottingham Forest in August 2014. He made 23 league appearances in a half-season loan with League Two side Hartlepool United in 2014-15. Tshibola will be reunited with former Royals boss Steve Clarke, who is now Villa's assistant manager. Villa manager Roberto di Matteo told the club website: "He's a highly- rated and well respected young player who will provide us with plenty of energy, courage and determination in the middle of the park. The fee is allegedly £5m with add ons. Villa fans must be inspired.

Stifler
Negredo to Boro. Wonder if this ends their interest in RVP. Not sure it's a good move, his career seems to have went down hill since he joined Man City, and he's 30 now. If he can regain his form then he'll put Boro in with a chance of staying up. Sunderland seem to be getting more and more competition.
