The 18-year-old's contract expires next summer but Rangers' hopes of negotiating an extension have been met with little encouragement by the player. Fulham have already failed with a £50,000 bid, branded 'derisory' by the Loftus Road club, while Liverpool, Newcastle, Wigan and Celtic are also thought to be keen. A move to the Premiership could be in the offing after Rangers chairman Gianni Paladini revealed his team's frustration at the impasse. "We've offered him about eight contracts but every time we have heard from his agent that Ray won't be signing," said Jones. Anyone seen him play before?
