Nearly as daft as us signing Elanga.

From the time Hall went down with a knock he seemed switched off imo. Looked like he wanted to go off and became passive after that….not the only one mind, if Wissa closes down from the front then it stops us sitting back as much. when we remove the energy from the forward line the whole team sits back.

The season summed up in a game.

Fall out from Palace allegedly, there is a rumour that Hall and Tindall had quite a confrontation at half time due to Hall not following instructions and going against the game plan.

Emery, Simone…lay off the Wacky Backy. 😂

It felt more like he chose not to attend…

If the boys development teams are treat anywhere near as badly as the girls development team then I’m surprised anyone wants to play for them. Similarly, if the way the development teams are treat at NUFC is reflective of the culture of the club then we have a significant problem.

Looked good against Forest

I think any new manager should be someone who can craft a team to rely less on intensive, pressing play. if we are going to try and compete across multiple fronts then IMO we need a style of play that can sustain the number of games we will play. I’m not sure who that manager is tbh, AI says Edin Terzic but I know very little about him tbf.

Looks like another busy back shift at Nissan

His ball for Barnes’s first goal was sublime.

It’ll reduce his commute from Whitley Bay a fair bit.

Loads of people were leaving yesterday, stewards needed to do more to get them out if they were going, they spend more time looking for people vaping than they do out else. Mind, a lad a few rows in front of us spewed all down the front of himself and they had to get him out, grim.

I felt that he was asked to protect Miley a lot today which meant he was a lot deeper than normal, that said, still thought he was poor.

There’s definitely a shift in the socio-economic background of fans at SJP, this has certainly accelerated post take over too. I’m not implying this means these people are lesser fans or anything like that but I think that there’s much more reserved fans going to the match now and it creates a kind of herd mentality, add in the number of kids multiplied by swearing and the general distain for it amongst parent/child groups it creates some strange dynamics in the ground. I go with one of the bairns in the Gallowgate and my match days look very different now compared to pre kids, I very rarely get out for pre match drinks it’s now getting something to eat with the bairn, I get to the ground earlier, still sing, wave flags etc (the kids love it) but I do try not to swear and what not, I know I’m not as vocal as a match as what I was 10 years ago that’s for certain. Personally, I like the idea of the singing section etc but I also think it has the potential to create an us and them mentality in the ground, I think there’s already a problem with that in the supporter base, loads of examples in this thread alone…ultimately everyone supports the team in a different way and not everyone will want to sing, shout and scream, just as I don’t want my 6 year old to hear some prick calling Bruno a cunt for a misplaced pass…but we all have to accommodate each other’s nuisances… Dont really know where I’m going with this now, but I think there’s a lot of bitterness (understandable) from those who can’t get a season ticket or regular tickets and also a lot of status season ticket holders too…neither are healthy.
