M4
Shrewd move from Sourpuss in bringing Lee "The Traitor" Clark back. www.nufc.com/html/clark-interview.html He signed for Sunderland when he claimed to be a Geordie through & through. Why anybody would want to do that is beyond me, Robbie Elliott can join him on the traitor list also. Clark could have signed for Barsnley and stayed in the Premiership but beggars belief why he opted for Sunderland. He obviously wanted to stay living in the area, so without playing for newcastle, sunderland's the answer. Grow up. Indeed, the way Clark talks about it makes perfect sense. Some people forget about the day to day logistics of things, and simply categorise people.

indi
Kegan, well sort of. Was he any relation to Keegan? Only by marriage.
merlin
It would be interesting to hear the views of those who saw most of these returnees as to whether their second spell was as good as the first ; the only one who really stands out for me was Beardsley - had a great second spell at the club under KK. Hibbitt was a limited success, John Craggs hardly played after he signed again. Terry Mac was also reasonable, but not as good as when he played at the Club between 71-74. Elliott nowhere near his best on the second stint(too many injuries).
