Guest
Then again, I think a lot of clubs, including Werder & Sevilla would see a team with Given, Duff, Parker, Emre, Butt, Martins, possibly Owen, and not relish the prospect. Those 7 players in particular are well recognised on the continent.
Keefaz
Honestly, apart from Seville we are probably the best team in the competition. No one we should be afraid of, imo.

Offshore
Actually, we've been racking up points over the past couple of seasons and are ranked very highly. This is because we've been in the UEFA Cup and not the Champions League and so are facing clubs from Belgium and the like. http://europeancups.altervista.org/rankings/team%20ranking%202006.htm Next season we'll be even better as one of our seasons without euro football gets knocked off the end. ...as long as we qualify to use it of course. Troll
A lot of bookies are giving Spurs better odds than us to win it, which I don't understand, given our record in Europe this season, higher league position, and the fact we beat them twice. Don't know a lot about bookmaking... but don't they adjust the odds based on the number of bets they receive one way or the other? Odds are long if no one is betting on the team. Shorten if they receive a lot of bets.
Guest Ridzuan
Unfortunately, statistics will not help any team to win football matches.
