Wullie
Didn't Mark Crossley take penalties or something? No, but he was bloody brilliant at saving them. Saved in an FA Cup final and the only keeper to save from Le Tissier, probably what you're thinking of. Crossley has scored a goal though, a couple of months ago up from a corner. Guest kingdawson
Didn't Mark Crossley take penalties or something? I seem to remember him taking some free-kicks.
indi
I have this vivid memory of a keeper taking a penalty and taking it like a goal-kick - absolutely blasting it into the top corner. I thought it was Crossley when he played for Forest, but a quick look at wikipedia shows that he never scored for Forest, but has for Sheff Wed, which must have been recently then. Anyone know what I'm on about then, if it wasn't Crossley, who was it?
Incognito
Steve Ogrizovic did exactly what Robinson did today. I'm sure it was against Sheff Wed about 20 years ago. Martin Hodge was the opposition keeper that day. And before anyone asks - NO I didn't google this. Purely from memory. 8) I was there and also when Steve Sherwood scored against Coventry with Raddy Abramovic in goal circa 1983 or
