Dave
12 grand a week, sorry. Informer f*** sake. I'm not ITK mackems.gif A lad I went to school with, plays in the academy, he lives about 40 yards from my house, on Beach Road, near Tynemouth. possibly not the best idea to put the lads address all over the internet. Is Luque on about £60k/week here, so in PSV he would have been on £48k/week and playing football. But turned it down for the money? I reckon i could live alright on £48k per week. Though i do see the point in turning down a wage drop. I could live alright on £48k per year, never mind a week. It's about 12 years of my current wage. I live in a poorer country though. Does anyone could have a good life with £48k per year/month in England? Just want to know how greedy he is. £48k per year is an excellent wage in England. The equivalent of 48k Pounds per year would be excellent money in just about any country in the world.

If he still a Mega Rich person after the wage cutted, why he won't try to make himself happier, more motivated, having more respect, etc. Isn't it a much better option if u're a happy rich person rather than a miserable rich person. I assumed, if he accept the offer, he still can afford 3 fancy houses rather than 4, he still can have 2 porsche rather than 3, he still can get 1,000,000 women rather than 1,000,001. etc, etc. How can it makes any different. I think we have to be selective before assigned any player. One of our problem is players don't give their best on the pitch, knowing they have already RIch. Or it's a man management job (Roeder's job)? If Roeder's ability is in questioned, why players such parker, millner, noby, etc, works really hard on the pitch.? Delima
News just in: Footballers are greedy/earn too much. Even if this tit bit is true, Luque is no different from any other footballer when it comes to money. How true. A friend of mine once had the chance to speak to Viduka in Boro training ground face to face (2004 fall) . That time McLaren was still the manager and the likes of Hasslebaink, Job still play for Middlesbrough. My friend, being from Lyon and hence an avid Lyon fan and all, asked Viduka if the rumours linking him with Lyon in the summer (2004) were true. Viduka nodded and my friend followed up by asking why he didn't move to Lyon, with Lyon being the top club in France and playing in Europe? Viduka gave a wry smile and made a money gesture. Is Luque any different to Viduka? No. Is Luque any different to any of us who would jump ship at first chance if more money is on offer? No. Are footballers from different planet? No. At least Luque does not tell us how much he loves the Toon. You wonder why Shepherd is still leeching our club while telling us he is doing his best for the club?
