ElDiablo Posted August 14, 2007 Share Posted August 14, 2007 Basically, this is a similar game to a fantasy league/ dream team thing run by the times, the twist is is you get a squad (20 players) and you get these players by ranking them. You rank all the players in the league (does take a bit of time but just bother with the goodens) and then each team is drawn a squad according to these rankings. Obviously each person will put the same 20/30 players near the top so who gets the good players is evened out. After your squad is drawn you can propose transfers with others in the league and also the remaining players who weren't drawn to any team will be available on frees that you can swap with any member of your squad. I have set up a league, but there's a maximum of 20 players per league, so get in quick!! It's just a bit of fun and it's well worth doing imo. If you do sign up you have until thursday this week to rank your players, the draw will take place on thursday. We're only competing against others in the league so it doesn't matter that the league has already started as we'll all start from the same place. Yes, that was me. If we'd have not got 20 people by the date (today), the game automatically postpones the draw until about a week in advance, meaning we would have missed another week. So last night I quickly changed both the date of the draw (now tommorow) and the number of entrants, to make sure we're away for this weekend. Maybe I could have waited for 20 but if it had run over till saturday that would have meant another week basically missed. I'm not sure what time the draw is made actually, could be midnight.
