another talent who never really achieved the standards he should have but a great entertainer and a hard worker
-
You can rename it but folk don't change
The Ridges in Shields is still the Ridges whatever they call it...................
-
save the money on a manager and let the players pick the team - couldn't be any worse..............

Instead of just sending me his address & locking the thread you could have simply forwarded it to him - admins

1. When I tried "Shout" I got this
Unable to execute query: INSERT INTO plshout (lid, userid, msg) values ('0', '56',' why can't we change icons')
You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 't we change icons')' at line 1
2. Why can't we change icons???

I don't think it'll happen but all you need is a couple of bad decisions and some bugger doing a "miracle run off the bottom" and it could be nasty - if we could score I'd be happier

The FA would probably withdraw from the competition but could go with...
Harper
Richards C.Davies Wheater Lescott
Milner Sidwell K.Richardson A.Johnson
Bent Owen
the FA WITHDRAW from a money making competition? mackems.gif mackems.gif mackems.gif mackems.gif
Most likely they'd rush out a special edition black fringed England strip and start building a Mausoleum for the dead at Wembley - entrance £5
-
Just before Christmas I had to go to a meeting in Aberdeen - and they held it at AFC's ground - we went in the wrong door and instead of sending us round to the correct entrance this lass took us right through the stadium - directors are (deep deep carpet), management area (carpet stolen from a hospital), players area - really grim
We had to go right through the physio area - aaall these lads being worked on and us in our suits and briefcases - mental!

I think he's been a awaste of space - him and Smith have eaten up a large amount of cash and never delivered

And I've felt depressed after such a few years following the toon without a trophy, come 50 years, i think i'd top myself.
in my experience, after about 25 years, the hope of silverware starts to fade, and then you are free to just enjoy the journey, knowing you may never get to the end.
I've got no hope for silverware, it's more like the greatest emotional rollercoaster ever created, and the guy in control thinks its funny to never let it slow down.
It's more like Grand Opera than football- lots of people rushing about to no effect, vast cost overruns, ridiculous ticket prices, the palce burniogn down and all sorts of improbable and impossible events every few minutes, non-existant management, prima donnas everywhere :frantic: :frantic:

Aye it's tough to see owt for at least 3 years IMHO
-
It's very interesting that even the THREAT of not finishing top 4 has got three clubs in turmoil (mad Sir Alex is too canny to panic)
just shows how they've built their business plans
If Everton keep climbing then maybe TWO of them will be in the s*** - maybe not even in the YUFA
-
I think the darkest moment was at Wembley against Arsenal when we all realised that Kenny had decided to play for a draw before kick-off.....................
-
You should have a presentation before the next home game. Where they take your season ticket off you and never allow you back, you jinx,
Thanks...............
Actually I was thinking
Best Team Player in 50 years - Shearer
Best Centre Forward - Cole
Most skillful player - Gazza
Least Skillful - Big Bill Thompson
Toughest Player - Scoular
Best manager Sir Bobby
Worst Manager - Souness
best Keeper - Given
Best Centre half - Albert or Woodgate
Best Left Back - Frank Clarke
Best Class Act - Anderson
Biggest Mouth - Bellamy or McDonald
Worst player - the list is long
Most frightening player to see on the other side - Greaves or Best
-
If Given could have walked like KK with no contract problems he would have. Both as bad as each other.
Rats and a sinking ship.
y
f***ing hell.
ou couldn't make it up could you?
HTT & TT presumably think players should sign on for life with one club............. it used to be called slavery :shifty:
-
I know, I know............. :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[
-
the best keeper we've ever had, a man who has kept his trap shut when all around were mouthing off and a great servant of the club
but HTT thinks he can "f*** off"
and you ask me what is wrong with football and NUFC today...............
-
Yes - 'twas 50 years ago I went to my first game at SJP
NUFC 3- Wolves 4
I should have known that's what it would be like for the next 50.............. :idiot2:
-
I don't blame him - I'm amazed he's stayed
and for all you idiots who criticise him - he's the best keeper we've had in my 50 years and probably the best keeper we've ever had -
just wait..................
-
I use Mike Wrays fantastic spreadsheet to keep track of the PL - he has a very good prediction record as well
It's currently showing us 6th by May - not quite as mad as you'd think as withe right results tomorrow we could go as high as 8th :frantic: :frantic:
