Of course it doesn't work that way, but as a (clear) Barca fan you see him as offside. A Man United fan sees him as onside. To me (who hates both) it was a marginal decision which could have gone either way. Is there a way that both teams can lose this btw?

I stand by what I said above in February. If he really is demanding a 4 year contract then sell him in the Summer. There aren't many players over 32 who can still cut it at Premiership level. I'll start you off with Ryan Giggs. Very generous of you... Off the top of my head Lampard, Drogba, Anelka, Carvalho (albeit now moved), Rio Ferdinand, Kevin Davies, Vieira all cut it at the top level. So "aren't many" is still pretty accurate.

We could construct a better strikeforce with the players we have now, if they were fit. Yes, of course we could. You won't name them though, because they're just in your head. Defoe is better than all of our strikers, full stop.

What could Krul have done better there? Ball was outside the box so he couldn't use his hands and slide at the player That's the whole point - he should be on his line, not committing himself like that. Coloccini's fault. But Krul did exactly the same thing against Huddersfield twice last season and it cost us 2 goals. The lad needs to use his brain a bit more. I'd just replace him with someone like Cech tbh.
