Low wages, didn't demand much in terms of a transfer kitty, and has a history of finding free/cheap bargain. Scunthorpe didn't go down because they appointed Knill, they went down because they refused to keep their best players the previous summer. Absolute zero chance that someone like Hughton would go to manage Scunthope.
