So frustrating this referee.
-
I was going to post the rooney comparison
Do one.
-
Okay, this ref is an idiot. He didn't even know that was a foul until the linesman flagged... yet it was worthy of an immediate yellow.
-
Booking for that
Insanity.
-
can they actually pull this off?
Probably not, but either way let's hope they knacker themselves trying!
-
Was very similar to his cameo against Spurs. Didn't put a foot wrong.
It's exactly the sort of role he should be limited to.
-
Interesting, very interesting. If I weren't a lazy bastard I would take great pleasure in quoting the vile abuse some of the doylums on here have gave Big Shols.
I'd be happy to list the names he's deserved over the years. Derby day is amnesty though for his shitness and us.

tbf I think she's on the phone.
Why would you want to be fair, though?

Seriously look at him from 2:25
Needs to be put on suicide watch

Poor Demba
He'd been looking forward to it for weeks and bigging it up too.
-
Better to hear that than the opposite, I guess, but we've been down this road before and more than once. No one will rest easy until the next game's lineup is announced.
-
Lets see how another team do at home 2-0 up against Wolves in the first half.
Doing rather well as it happens. Funny.
Why concede two when you can score another two
-
Nice composure and finish from the American.
3-0 Fulham.
-
He does better when it's on his weaker foot. Sure I can remember him getting them at least on target with his left quite a few times (plus Arsenal, obviously). He so desperately wants to knock the cover off the ball when it's on his right, he loses all quality. Should treat both his feet as if they were his left
-
So... Without their best player for a few games now. How unfortunate
-
Duff just kicked the ball into a defender's chest inside the box and didn't claim for anything at all. No flailing arms, nothing. Is he ill?
-
Still think it's a right shame he overreacted like that. Was a red anyway, but beyond the fact I don't want to see that from our players it would have been brilliant had he just stood there and taken it wobbly jaw and all
-
He had the flu, has to Shola "Michael Jordan" Ameobi. Same number, too!

Game 2 of the 2012 Tyne-Wear series will now forever be known as "The Flu Game".
-
Funnily enough if he'd connected better I bet the keeper would have saved it.
Exactly, derby day is bizarro day. Being a lazy waster is key!
-
Wasted a whole 45 minutes of football and gave ourselves a hillock to climb that we found almost impossible.
-
Was a bout to post he did so well with the pen. Great composure and one of those ultra rare moments where he seemed in total control of his surroundings
... Then he goes and scores too.
-
Sheareresque Ba
-
Shola is a derby day genius.

Watching Jonas wriggle about to try and create room to put in a cross is one of the more tedious experiences in football.
